Treatment Photography

1. Type of production and brief details on Subject/Concept:

 I'm doing a photography project based on solitude. The basic Idea of this is to make my pictures very Moody, and dark i want them to be depressing but in the same time shout ' But i know you want that' it means that even if its depressing and dark no one would turn down the opportunity to be in such a peace and quiet. 

2. Facilities: What facilities do you need for this project list all including software and hardware for the whole project: The one software i'm going to need is Photoshop and im going to shoot my photos outside college somewhere calm and dark maybe Forrest or some abandoned buildings i haven't scouted for location yet so i cant tell exactly.  

3. Finance: If you produced this project outside of the college you need to show how much would it cost to hire the equipment that you intend to use. For this project i'm going to use my equipment my camera my tripods my flashes my camera costs 560pounds my two tripods cost nearly 150 pounds and my flash cost me about 140pounds

4. Contributors: Who do you need to help this for you project? This includes talent and crew.Im thinking of getting someone to help me but heaven't decided who yet.

5. Codes of practice and regulation: What regulations to you need to be aware of. Think about college policy as well as regulatory bodies that you looked at in assignment 2, Worksheet 1.6 Regulation and Safety notes

6. Presentation: How will you present the pictures? Will you include a soundtrack, think about copy write issues etc. Im thinking of presenting it by power point composition with some ambient music that shouts solitude!

PORTRAITURE

Diane Arbus is one of the best known names in portraiture photography. American born photographer had always been attracted to portraits her square black and white photographs always used to capture people out of their comfort zone, that made those pictures look very controversial and unusual the fact that Diane was always in control of her subjects. She used to capture different people  dwarfs, giants, transvestites, nudists, circus performers or people whose normality seemed ugly or surreal. 

Photo Journalism Pt2

Robert Capa - He's an Icon to every photo journalist now and then, the one photographer/journalist that worked for life magazine captured some of the most shocking, important and beautiful pictures until now, those pictures are still deep down in everyone's mind and soul. Capa used to say that to take a good picture you have to get close to action and he did he captured some of the most important decisive moments in war history deaths of a lot of men, explosions and moments that makes war ridiculous and bad. As well as Robert Capa there was A soldier photographer Tony Vaccaro that was even closer to the war and battles than Robert Capa ever got, but both of them  were always being compared to each other Tony Vacaro didn't have equipment as good as Capa did but when your as close to battle as Tony was its just impossible not to get the best out of it.... The biggest loss in photography is that Robert Capa risked his life by going into D-Day landing battle and after he shot four films of pictures they were ruined in life magazines hq only 11 frames survived.
Photo Journalism during the WWII had a huge impact on ordinary people because at the time no one knew what was happening in Germany or France or anywhere war was going on. The pictures had quite an interesting impact because it was the only way for people to see what is going on down there, and that made quite an negative effect on everyone, you don't have to talk about WWII, you can take any war in example, when there was no cameras 200 - 300 yrs ago wars and battles were being painted, and their were being painted as this majestic and poetic thing, with a lot of colors and beautiful landscapes the only thing they were doing is making war look good and stylish. But when photojournalism was an option all the images were black and white they were blurry and damaged. Pictures captured deaths of soldiers who had families death of children and women, and that had huge impact on war itself because pictures was being published in magazines and books and during that time print media was very huge around the world so everyone seen it and seen it in a worst way possible.

The one picture the one split second and the one perfect moment created Decisive moment and the greatest picture of 20th century. With his mighty companion Leica he used to scout for places just to capture the perfect moment, the Leica camera was produced in Germany By Leica Company there weren't many leicas at that time but leica was the perfect camera for creating Decisive moment.
